Process practice of ultra-small borehole short-radius barefoot sidetracking horizontal wells with coiled tubing

  • 摘要: 目前连续油管短半径开窗侧钻技术已经实现工程应用突破,但裸眼侧钻定向钻井仍面临以下轨迹控制技术瓶颈:连续油管裸眼段侧钻工艺缺失、稳斜钻具组合优化不足、超小井眼随钻定向工具面控制受限等。通过在江汉油田老区某标准井场开展工程试验,采用无缆式Ø60.3 mm连续油管,在Ø110 mm井眼实施裸眼侧钻、定向造斜与水平段稳斜钻进,系统验证了多项关键技术参数:包括Ø89 mm单弯动力钻具(2.5°)在超薄水泥塞、短半径条件下的造斜特性以及增斜控制规律,0.75°微弯角动力钻具的稳斜与降斜性能,Ø42 mm MWD与Ø79 mm分度工具(用于控制井下工具面旋转角度的工具)在无固相饱和盐水钻井液中的协同控制能力。通过钻进211 m裸眼段积累的工程数据,创新性地形成了连续油管裸眼侧钻工艺、无缆随钻测控工艺以及全角变化率≥28(°)/30 m的轨迹控制工艺。实践积累的数据与经验为超小井眼连续油管短半径侧钻水平井产业化应用提供了决策依据,有效支撑了老油田经济开发。

     

    Abstract: Coiled tubing short-radius casing sidetracking technology has achieved breakthroughs in engineering applications. However, barefoot sidetracking and directional drilling still face the following trajectory control bottlenecks: the lack of a coiled tubing barefoot sidetracking process, insufficient optimization of stabilization drilling tool combinations, and limited tool face control for measurement while drilling (MWD) in ultra-small boreholes. This study conducted an engineering test at a standard well site in the Jianghan Oilfield old district. Through barefoot sidetracking, directional deviation building, and horizontal section stabilization drilling using a slickline Ø60.3 mm coiled tubing in a Ø110 mm borehole, three key technical parameters were systematically verified:The deviation building characteristics and inclination increase control laws of a single-bend downhole motor (Ø89 mm, bend angle 2.5°) under conditions of ultra-thin cement plugs and short radius;The stabilization and inclination reduction performance of a micro-bend angle (0.75°) downhole motor; The synergistic control capability of a Ø42 mm MWD and a Ø79 mm indexing tool (a tool used to control the rotational angle of the downhole tool face) in a solid-free saturated salt cement slurry. Through the accumulation of engineering data from 211 m of barefoot drilling, three innovative processes were developed: The coiled tubing barefoot sidetracking process, the slickline MWD and control process, and the trajectory control process with a total angle change rate ≥28(°)/30 m. The data and experience from this practice provide a decision-making basis for the industrial application of ultra-small borehole coiled tubing short-radius sidetracking horizontal wells, effectively supporting the economic development of old oilfields.
