Abstract: The comprehensive treatment of damaged casing is an important measure to recover oil productive in old oilfield.The explosion technology is one of the effect measures of comprehensive treatment.In this paper,the principle of explosion technology for repairing damaged casing,basic designs and the technology are presented on the basis of analyzing casing damage conditions and main causes.The case histories of operation onsite were shown,as reference of comprehensive treatment of damaged casing.
