Abstract: In field applications of sand control technology using coated sand in Kelamayi oilfield,the chemical heating method is used to increase temperature near wellbore zone,and then to meet the need of consolidation temperature of coated sand. This technology may increase substantially the consolidation strength of coated sand,and prolong sand control cycle.
