Abstract: Good results have been obtained by using VAM tubing in high temperature and high pressure oil/gas wells. Because of different conditions of each oilfield in china,the orighal tubing joint cannot meet the needs of oilfield production. According to the above-mentioned facts and proposal of Chinese experts. Japan and China develop jointly TM thread joint. It has advantages such as good sealing property and prevent thread gluing property, high overtorque-resistance, wide torque wrench moment range,easy to process and repair, and favourable operation and economy. Indoor evaluation test and field test results show that TM joint has a good property.
