Abstract: Well kick and blowout would occur while hydraulic pressure is lower than formation pore pressure.The technology involved controlling kick and blowout by surface equipment,so as to continue drilling and reaching more targets,while avoiding accidents and damage.The characteristics and requirments of the technology,applicability,site arrangement,operation requirments and caution werelisted in the paper.The technology was applied in Zhongyuan Oilfield,two wells(Pushen-5(4750m) and Bai-21(4190m)) were drilled,formation damage were prevented.
