侧钻井钻井液携屑能力试验研究

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE CUTTINGS CARRYING CAPACITY OF DRILLING FLUID

  • 摘要: 利用全尺寸携屑模拟实验装置进行了携屑试验,得到了侧钻水平井井眼内岩屑的运移规律,指出了环空岩屑成床的临界环空返速为0.85~1.2 m/s,形成岩屑床的临界井斜角为40°~60°。提出了衡量钻井液携屑能力的参数及指标,评判出钻井液携屑能力的参数临界值为1.5。推荐了现场施工的环空返速范围为1.2~2.0 m/s,钻井液性能参数设计应满足携屑能力参数≥ 1.5为宜。大庆油田的施工实践,证明了文中结果的正确性。

     

    Abstract: A cuttings transport test is carried out with a full size stimulator to reveal the characteristics of cuttings migration in the sidetracked horizontal well. An annular return velocity of 0.85~1.2m/s, and a deviation angle of 40~60° are determined as the critical values of cuttings beds settling. This paper presents the specific parameters and indexes for evaluating the cuttings carrying capacity and suggests a critical value of 1.5, which may be used for reference in drilling fluid program, and an annular return velocity of 1.2~2.0m/s is chosen for field drilling according to the test. Drilling practice in Daqing Oilfield proves the accuracy of the test results.
