Abstract: Development viscous reservoir is becoming a main measure to make up production decline after coming into high water cut stage in Gudao Oilfield. So electric heating technology was used in scattered viscous reservoirs. After many years test and application, the technology has become one main measure in Gudao scattered viscous reservoirs through parameters being selected and technology being matched. The better production effect and economic benefit was acquired with 9.6418×104t oil being increased after twenty-eight wells has been constructed.
