Abstract: Following the four extended reach horizontal wells in QK17-2 oilfield of Bohai,another two horizontal wells are successfully drilled in QHD32-6 oilfield, in which the horizontal displacement of Well A26H is 2997m, and 1942m of Well A25H. Six key technologies listed in the national subject of 863 are applied, i. e., torque and friction software designing and prediction,water based drilling fluid technology,diemeter variable stabilizers, hole stabilization and well cleaning prediction. At the same time, advanced horizontal drilling technologies of abroad are also adopted, e. g., MWD and LWD technology, GST drilling technology, and floating collar casing running, etc.Some potential prob- lems in extended reach developing are pointed out, and some suggestions and recommendations are also presented.
