Abstract: The paper introduces the whole WBT examination process of using double packers in the pipe string with monitoring by pressure gauges in XQ - 1 well. It is designed to solve the problem that the data obtained from WBT examination using routine packers are not complete. Three pressure gauges are designed in the technology. Two of them are used to record the pressure of the formation, and the rest one is designed to monitor the seal condition of the packers. Therefore, three pressure curves may be obtained during the test. The detail data of formation WBT can be obtained in the comprehensive contrast of the three curves, and WBT can be founded obviously.The foundations related scientific decision can also be presented by the work, and many repeating work can be avoided.
