Abstract: Completion methods selection of sour gas fields is the key for long-time and safe development. Based on geological analysis and effect factors of completion, the paper discusses the well structure for vertical wells, directional wells and horizontal wells. For the material of the formation casing, the nickel-based and gas tight seal casing is used for the formation section, and permanent packer is applied to protect the upper formation casing, which can extend the life and decrease the cost of development.
