Analysis of model and productivity sensitivity on snaky wells in anisotropic oil reservoir

  • To research percolation regularities of near-wellbore zone of snaky wells in anisotropic oil reservoir, a semi-analysis productivity prediction model of snaky wells is established, pressure distribution in inflow profile and near-wellbore zone of any well section is predicted on the basis of consideration of form characteristics of snaky wells, and comparative analysis is performed for factors affecting productivity, including different vertical-horizontal permeability of stratum, fluctuation degree and period of snaky wells. Results show that: in comparison with horizontal wells, snaky wells increase effective contact area with oil reservoir; with lowering of vertical permeability, snaky wells may fully compensate for the disadvantages of horizontal wells; the increase of fluctuation height of snaky wells in certain range may improve productivity; fluctuation period of snaky wells is in direct proportion to control area and productivity, but optimal fluctuation period exists in integrated consideration of process complexity and economic cost.
