APPLICATlON OF THERMAL RESISTANCE AND HEAT CONTENT FORMULA IN THE SIMULATION STUDY OF THE TEMPERATURE FIELD IN THE OIL WELL USING ELECTIC CABLE AND/OR ELECTRQTHERMAL ROD

  • Studied the temperature filed distribution in oil well using electric cable and/or electrothermal rod. Used the simple and effective thermal resistance and heat content formula to replace the conventional mathematics model established by the use of the finite difference method- During simulation study, comprehensively considered the heat transfer mode such as heat conduction, convection, heat radiation and so on, treated the heat physical property parameter such as heat transfer factor, liquid density, specific heat and so on asa variable based on the on-site condition- Combined it with 1 oil well case, simulated the temperature distribution in the well, determined the location of the wax solidifying point,optimized the power and setting depth of the automatic control electric cable. The simulated result fitted well with that measured on site.
