Abstract
Well Hong 9-1 is a shallow layer, extended reach directional well, which located at Honghu structure, north limb of Bei Dagang structure belt in Dagang oilfield. Its design vertical depth is 1150m, the displacement is 1668m and vertical depth/displacement ratio is 1:1. 45. The well is of "four sectional system" profile. The highest deviation angle is 76. 22°, kickoff point is placed at 260m. Deviation ended up at 655m, 655~1392m is the main tain angle section. Drop-off hole angle started at 1392m and stopped at the bottom hole(2300. 58m), the final deviation angle is 61°. Well Hong 9-1 is the first shallow layer,extended reach directional well onshore in China. It is very difficult for well trajectory control, casing running and well logging due to shallow layer, high deviation angle and long deflecting section. With the optimization design and operation, it took only 16d 14h to drill through the design well depth and 82. 58m were further deepened. The job execution process and drilling technology were mainly introduced.
