EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON RESISTANCE FACTORS OF PERFORATED HORIZONTAL PIPES

  • Experimental device was designed and established for the horizontal wellbore flow according to field perforating methods. Experimental study was conducted for getting horizontal pipe resistance factors. The flow resistance in the horizontal pipe can be divided into three parts:intrinsic wall friction loss, acceleration pressure loss and mixing pressure loss. The experimental data were processed and the mechanism of mixture loss was analyzed theoretlcally. The experimental study has provided theoretical basis for the field calculation of flow resistance in horizontal wells.
