IOR TECHNOLOGIES FOR FAULT BLOCK RESERVOIRS AT MID-HIGH WATER CUT STAGE

  • At present, the main adjustment technology for water injection oilfields at mid high water cut stage both at home and abroad is based on hydrodynamics. This paper discusses the IOR technologies for fault block reservoirs at mid-high water cut stage based on the field application of technologies such as enhanced water injection, changed water injection mode, water shutoff and profile control, post-fracturing treatment of low permeability oilfields, complex association operation and other high and new technologies. From the above, this paper concludes:the hydrodynamics adjustment technology is simple, with more successful opportunities, obvious effect and good economic benefit; when conducting actual adjustment in oilfields, a combination method of multi-measures is generally adopted, for by which more economic benefit can be achieved. The development of the high and new technologies can further enhance the IOR technology.
