  • Well Yuexi 2 Ping-1 is the first horizontal well drilled in Chaidamu Basin, and the first horizontal well drilled in the plateau area in China. It sets good records on drilling cycle, net drilling time and average ROP in the same kind of horizontal wells. Full weight on bit (WOB) is applied for continuous drilling during sidetracking, and lots of valuable data and experience is obtained, which is good for pushing the application of horizontal drilling technology in this area.
