SELECTION OF SUITABLE CASING CENTRALIZERS IN HORIZONTAL AND EXTENDED REACH WELL

Proper selection of casing centralizer is very important for running the casing to bottom hole in horizontal and extended reach well, and it can improve cementing quality by centralizing the casing in hole. This paper presents several new types of casing centralizer, and their applications in cementing horizontal and extended reach wells. It emphasized that specially designed casing centralizers must be used for the successful cementing in horizontal and extended reach well.
