NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF GAS-LIQUID TWO PHASE STRATIFIED FLOW WITH VARIABLE MASS

  • Gas liquid two phase stratified flow in pipe is a important topic in pipeline transport and horizontal well production. The study of gas-liquid interface, especially stratified flow with air bubble through interface in horizontal well production is a emphases matter and difficulty in numerical value calculation. Using one-dimensional stationary model, the integer research was made to stratified flow at first. Then using triaxial non-stationary model, the numerical study was put up. At last, the stratified flow field and the result of changing resistance in interface with quality exchanging were gained by using VOF method to catch gas-liquid interface, using RNG κ-εonflow model and using finite volume numerical method to calculate Reynolds equation of triaxial non-stationary model in pipeline.
