Abstract
This research is dedicated to the reservoir which is deeper partially with the results of inefficient steam huff and puff. The new enhanced oil recovery pilot technology is experienced in the deep pay-zone from which the viscous oil can not be withdraw by the conventional technology and the high frequency cyclic steam pilot reservoir could not be effectively recovered. This project can increase the driving energy for the oil well by the means of CO2 compressibility meanwhile the CO2 with solubility and extractive ability can reduce the crude oil viscosity as well as improve the flow property base upon the conclusion of laboratory experiments and numerical simulation, so that it can provide the theoretical basis and case history for the recovery mod transition. The case for this kind of CO2 stimulation has been applied in the blocks, such as Leng-42、Gao-3624 and Jin-45 blocks with in 6 wells. The CO2 cyclic stimulation should be economical feasibility and cost effective technology with low investment on the basis of field testing and economical evaluation.
