HYDROGEN SULFIDE SHUTING-OFF TECHNOLOGY IN WELL ZHAOXIN-2

As an exploration well located in the structure of Zhaolanzhuang,Well Zhaoxin-2 was drilled to verify the oil and gas reserves and the resource of hydrogen sulfide.This well was completed in 1979 and oil was found oozing from the wellhead in 2001.Based on the condition of high content of hydrogen sulfide and blockage of unknown matters at the wellhead,the following associate equipment such as rotary BOP,liquid/gas separator,vacuum degasser,and special tripping equipment free of killing job were used during the shutting-off operation.Meanwhile,such techniques as closing the wellhead annular and pressured tripping were carried out,and the hydrogen sulfide shutting-off operation in well Zhaoxin-2 was performed safely and successfully.
