APPLICATION OF LARGE SCALE FRACTURING TECHNOLOGY TO RESERVOIR STIMULATION IN NO.204 GAS WELL OF HONGTAI COMPACT GAS FIELD

Abstract
Hongtai gas reservoir of Xiaochaohu sag is featured on low pressure permeability and has no initial production, and conventional fracturing stimulations result poor effects. The large scale fracturing technology to reservoir stimulation is studied and supplied successfully in No.204 well of hongtai field. It comprises some key technique about rational definition of fracture scale, optimal design of large scale fracture job and harmless flowback aiding hydraulic fluid. A total of 772.6 m3 of hydraulic fluid and 100.6 m3 of sand was injected in the well. The initial gas production adds up to 160000 m3/d, and the stability gas production is 96000 m3/d accompanied with 8.3 m3/d of oil. The production after treatment increased by fourteen times as much as before the treatment. The large scale fracturing technology has resulted in increasing production and high economic benefits. Hongtai gas reservoir exploration was broke through and upgraded by using the large scale fracturing technology. It will provide the successful experience in great deal for the exploitation of similar reservoirs.
