  • The activity of weigh2 and weigh3 water-soluble-organic-salt solution determines the inhibition of water-based drilling fluids.It is considerable that activity is measured.In laboratory,the relative humidity of weigh2 and weigh3 solutions can be measured by electric hygrometer and the relations between relative humidity and mass fraction are derived.The relations and figures between activity and mass fraction are based on the relation between activity and relative humidity,which have been given by electric hygrometer itself.They can be used to control borehole stability,design drilling formulation and optimize drilling fluids cost.
