Drilling technology of fishbone horizontal multilateral well in Shengli Oilfield

  • In order to seek a more effective,scientific and economic reserves employing mode and reservoir development mode,research and application of fishbone horizontal well technology is carried on in Shengli Oilfield.Some key factors such as drilling in mode,well structure,side tracking technology of open hole branch well,drilling tool assembly,geometry guiding drilling technology,protection technology of oil and gas layer,completion technology,and so on are studied based on design principle of fishbone horizontal multilateral well.Meanwhile,field test of 5 wells is done.It shows that the new technology can improve producing degree of reservoir,utilization ratio of development and recovery of oil and gas reservoir because the yield of testing well is over 3 times than that of ordinary directional well or vertical well.The successful implementation of fishbone horizontal multilateral well provides a new set of technology routes for Shengli Oilfield in improving comprehensive development benefit of oil and gas reservoir and accumulates rich experience for popularization and application of the technology in future.
