Application of complex perforation and DST combination technology in offshore exploration well testing

  • The conventional perforating gun can not reduce pollution near the well-bore in well testing for some large pollution scale oil and gas zone.By improving the casing perforation equipment and optimizing testing string,the complex perforation gun and DST tools are combined to work.The compounded gunpowder was burned to create an instantaneous pressure which intensely shocked the testing string greatly and affected the normal working of packer and electronic pressure and temperature gauge.The introduction of high efficiency absorber were thus introduced and compounded gunpowder safely designed in testing operation with exploration wells in three offshore oilfields.Results indicate a safe and reliable result of an around 0 skin factor.This kind of technique can significantly reduce the pollution impact to test data and hence has a bright future.
