Design and application of split-type double plug cement casing head

Double plug cement head plays an important role in the completion of double plug cement injection. The main problems of integral double plug cement head are difficult carrying, hard rubber plug and well head installation. To solve these, split-type double plug cement head was designed and developed. Feasibility of its structure concept was analyzed and making up features were introduced. Also, the performance test process, operation method, and field application effects were detailed described here. The split-type double plug cement head can overcome the shortcomings of integral double plug cement head and promote the smooth two-stage cementing positively.
