Rigid and elastic principles in the development program for complex reservoir

Development program is the critical guidance for reservoir development. Implementation of the program has the author-ity and the principle. However, with limited exploratory data and some uncertainty, implementation of the program has both rigid part and elastic part. Rigid parts of development program were described in aspect of development methods and techniques. The causes of the deviations in original reserves evaluation, well pattern design, productivity prediction, production allocation and recovery prediction were analyzed. Hence, based on reservoir engineering theory and methods, adjustment of the measures and deployment in the original proposal is necessary in the implementation of the development program.
