Application of self-exicited oscillation drilling tools on Well Banshen19-64 in Dagang Oilfield

  • Self-exicited oscillation rotarypercussion drilling tool is developed, integrating the two kinds of technologies of pulse drilling and percussion vibration drilling. The periodic mechanical shock from the hydraulic oscillation element of the tool is loaded on rock through the bit, to reduce the rock breaking strength, while the hydraulic pulsation force against bottom-hole helps to improve the stress state of rock and purification of debris, so as to effectively improve rock breaking efficiency of the bit. Because of the optimization of hydraulic structure and the high wear-resistance materials, the tool shows reliable performance and has no special requirements on bit and drilling assemble structure. The run length of the tool named JB-ZJXC-178 is 747 meters on Well Banshen19-64, and the average penetration rate is 9.05 m/h, which is 90.12% higher than mator drilling in the same formation on the same well, so the penetration rate increasing effect is obvious.
